Safety Awareness Week… That Means HELMET SALES!

Did you know you were supposed to replace your helmet every 3-5 years regardless of falls or trauma? Did you know after a fall you’re supposed to replace your helmet too? Luckily for you SmartPak is having a helmet sale in honor of Safety Awareness Week. Check out some of my favorite helmets in the sale below, in no particular ranking order! 🙂

1. One K Defender CCS MIPS Helmet. ($$$) This is the helmet I replaced my Miss Shield with but in the wide brim, sad face SmartPak doesn’t stock it – don’t worry Riding Warehouse has it on sale for under $310.
2. One K Avance Wide Brim Chrome Stripe ($$). The non-MIPS version of my current show helmet and under $245. Great news for oval heads, One K helmets come in round and long oval options.
3. Kep Italia Smart Matt Polo Visor ($$$). I love the look of this helmet, its slowly making its way to the hunter rings. Priced under $375.
4. KASK Star Lady ($$$$). This helmet is really taking over the hunter-jumper world. Priced under $560!
5. Tipperary Windsor Wide Brim MIPS ($$$). I love the look of this helmet and super sad I couldn’t make it work with my hair for horse showing. The shells are S, M, L options with a dial fit in the back to ensure the best fit possible. Great for kiddos with growing noggins 🙂 Priced under $325.
6. EQx Kylo MIPS by Charles Owen ($$). This MIPS helmet is new to the market! Priced under $140 makes it nicely priced to not hit the bank too hard.
7. GPA First Lady 2x ($$$$). This is a throwback but still a classic hunter jumper helmet. Priced under $540.
8. IRH Equi-Pro SV ($). This helmet meets ASTM/SEI requirements but doesn’t have a fair amount of the extras. It is an oval fit. Priced under $60, so better than no noggin protection in my opinion!
9. Ovation M Class MIPS ($$). Priced under $150 with MIPS?! Say no more, lots of size options as well XS-XL.
